This was a public health community development project initiated by Heal for Africa Initiative, an NGO that develops programs to empower women on health, social and economic matters.
The project was under the “Pay Attention To Her (PATH)” program with goals specially aligned to improving the livelihood of women especially those in underdeveloped communities. I was the team leader for my region and served as the project manager. I and my teammates executed the project based on existing templates and processes.
The project’s aim was to educate school girls on Menstrual Hygiene Management, assess the gaps in their menstrual knowledge and practices before and after the education, and establish a PATH hub in the school for follow-up.
